  Brisbane Inner City Rail Capacity Study

Systemwide provided the rail operations expertise as part of a multi disciplinary team that identified solutions which would double capacity within the Brisbane rail network. More details

Systemwide investigated the capacity and reliability implications of using a European Train Control System level 1 signalling system in the Sydney metropolitan network. More details

  Brisbane Rail Services and Infrastructure Requirements Study

Translink, a division of Queensland Transport, engaged Systemwide to provide a comprehensive future service plan and infrastructure and rollingstock investment plan for the Brisbane rail network through to 2016. More details

  Melbourne Inner Core Improvements Study

Systemwide considered future capacity constraints in the inner-core of the Melbourne metropolitan network and provided recommendations on how they could be alleviated. More details

  Brisbane Metropolitan Coal Capacity Study

The coal export boom has placed considerable pressure on rail operators to commit to increased annual coal tonnages on their rail network from the mines to the port. To respond to this, Queensland Rail called upon Systemwide to provide advice on the capacity for increased coal tonnages through the Brisbane metro network and the Port of Brisbane. More details

  Richmond Line Duplication Study

Systemwide determined the passenger and operational benefits of increasing the scope of a planned track duplication project on the Richmond Line. This assisted Railcorp to successfully argue for an extension to the project. More details

  Northern Rail Group Strategic Capacity Study

Systemwide created a comprehensive upgrade strategy through to 2020 for the development of the most complex sector of the Melbourne metropolitan network—the Northern Rail Group. More details

Systemwide identified the major infrastructure projects required to support the growth needs of the Brisbane metro rail network to 2026. More details
